It records on SD Card media (2GB card included) and offers built-in mixing, dedicated knobs for volume and pan for each track, a reverb send knob for the built-in reverb effect, two XLR microphone inputs with phantom power, a guitar level input and built-in stereo mics. The DBeat from Open Labs is an all-in-one DJ console that apparently packs "more than 10,000 sounds with an additional 14GB of sounds that come with the included, full-feature version of Ableton Live 7". It's housed in an aluminium chassis and apparently weighs "only 20lbs". MSRP: $3,999. More

Behringer have replaced their popular Pod killer with the V-Amp 3 which features four new amp models in addition to the 28 of the original, which have apparently been further tweaked for sonic authenticity, with 15 speaker cabinet simulations for a total of 480 virtual combos. Plus, there's a USB audio interface and an optical S/PDIF out. It's set to come bundled with Behringer's energyXT2.5 recording software for a possibly sub-$200 price. More
